Empower women and children at the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre as a Cultural Programmer. Lead the development of cultural, recreational, and educational programs designed to uplift community members.

As a key member of DEWC, you will be responsible for planning and implementing programs that align with our mission to support vulnerable women and children in Vancouver. This full-time role requires collaboration with staff to create engaged programming and will be rooted in a feminist and anti-oppression framework.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan cultural and educational activities for community engagement
• Collaborate with DEWC members to tailor programs
• Facilitate arts and recreational groups for women




• Maintain meticulous records and manage scheduling
• Promote DEWC’s mission through social media and outreach

Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years experience in women-serving roles
• Knowledge of issues in the Downtown Eastside
• Proficiency in IT and social media platforms
• Certification in First Aid & NVCI preferred
• Robust organizational and problem-solving skills
