Become a Genetic Counsellor Assistant in UHN’s Genetics Program at Princess Margaret Hospital. This permanent full-time role focuses on patient scheduling and coordination of genetic services during weekdays.

The Genetic Counsellor Assistant will work closely with genetic counsellors to ensure efficient management of clinic workflows, handling patient information, and supporting genetic assessments. Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate scheduling and appointment logistics
• Obtain and summarize medical histories
• Reach out to patients and healthcare providers
• Update family pedigrees regularly
• Monitor genetic testing and laboratory results
Requirements:
• BSc in Biology, Genetics, or healthcare field
• Knowledge of genetics principles and theory
• Robust communication and customer service skills
• Experience in a clinical genetics setting preferred
• Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks
