Agency/Organization Description: Responsible for helping to fulfill the department’s mission of “Creating lifelong fans one WOW at a time.” The Community Partnerships Associate will contribute to the overall development and implementation of the Community Partnerships strategic plan and participate in developing a community profile for the club in the general market that will support our sales efforts. Term Length: September 1st – December 31st, 2026 (with the possibility of extension to fulltime) : The Community Coordinator position includes but is not limited to:
Scheduling and implementing community and school presentations.
Assisting on Game Day with set-up/tear down, Kids Club etc.
Creating and updating sponsorship fulfillment reports
Assisting with Community Outreach
Assist with community outreach events as needed
Skills/Qualifications Required:
University student having completed or working towards the completion of their degree
Solid organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
A willingness to represent the BC Lions brand in the community.
Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
A positive attitude in executing hands-on events
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with kids and students
University Degree
Class 5 drivers’ license
Training and Facilitation experience
Familiarity with A/V equipment
Comfortable with technology
Special Requirements: Flexibility to work irregular hours eg: evenings and weekends. Access to a vehicle is solid asset.
Compensation: Approximately $2,900/month
