WCL is actively searching for a motivated Lead Hand to support underground crews. You'll bridge communication between the foreman and crew, pushing for a protected and efficient work environment. Strong candidates will have a solid background in pipe installation and site safety practices while demonstrating exceptional leadership traits.
Key Responsibilities:
• Aid the foreman in day-to-day operations
• Coordinate tasks among labourers and operators
• Uphold trench safety and safety practices on site
• Direct work and solve problems proactively
• Maintain clear communication with project oversight
Requirements:
• 3+ years in the underground construction field
• Experience as a Foreman, Lead Hand, or similar
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Ready to obtain WHMIS & CSTS 2020
• Strong communication and leadership skills
