Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Child Care Assistant Director to lead and support our early childhood education programs. In this vital role, you will oversee daily classroom operations, ensure a secure and nurturing workplace for children, and collaborate with staff, families, and community partners. Duties
Assist the Director in managing classroom activities and daily routines to promote a positive learning environment
Support teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate curricula that meet early childhood education standards
Supervise staff to ensure high-quality caregiving and teaching practices, including classroom experience and individualized attention
Collaborate with families to communicate children's progress, needs, and developmental milestones
Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health & safety protocols for children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities
Coordinate staff schedules,



training sessions, and ongoing professional development opportunities
Lead efforts to create inclusive activities that support children’s social-emotional growth and developmental goals

Qualifications
Proven classroom experience in early childhood education or related settings
Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs to support inclusive learning environments
Strong background in teaching foundational skills across early childhood development domains
Demonstrated caregiving skills combined with leadership abilities to guide staff effectively
Knowledge of licensing requirements, health & safety standards, and best practices in early childhood programs
Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, families, and team members
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude
