Your responsibilities include measuring client eye specifications and assisting clients in choosing eyeglasses. Additionally, you will manage lens grinding and polishing, ensuring the highest quality for each pair of lenses.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze eyeglasses and contact lenses using optical devices
• Obtain specifications from prescriptions by ophthalmologists
• Supervise activities of other opticians or trainees
• Assist clients in selecting perfect eyeglasses
• Advise on care and usage of contact lenses

Requirements:
• 2-3 years of experience in opticianry
• College certificate or diploma in optical technology
• Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
• Robust attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
