Established multi-site Childcare Operator seeks a Lead FDK/SA RECE - Contract for two vacant positions at our Tumpane Child Care Centre location.

Position: Contract - Part-Time - Split Shift

Qualifications and Requirements:

Early Childhood Education Diploma or Equivalency

Registered and in Good Standing with The College of Early Childhood Education

Current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR - AED Level C

Current and Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)

Complete Toronto Public Health Medical and Immunization requirements

Skills Required:

Warm and Energetic individual who has the ability to work with Children of all ages, experience with ***** age group is an asset.

Must possess strong initiative and organizational skills and have a positive attitude

Dependable and Flexible - arrives on time and ready to commence work as scheduled

Communicate effectively and professionally with Children, Staff and Parents, IC SG Management, and any other Governing Agencies

Must have general knowledge of Childcare Operations and an ability to comply with all the requirements from CCEYA/AQI/TPH/ICSG [incl. TDSB Policies and Procedures for sites located in TDSB]

Able to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.

Has the ability to implement an Early Childhood Program as per requirements set out by governing agencies

Maintain Room control with positive Behaviour Management Strategies

Ability to plan and implement a program

Assets:

Working Knowledge of the Lillio Application (Parent Portal)





Experience with laptop/tablet use to program and record Children's profiles

Hours of work:

Centre Hours of Operation are 7:00am - 6:00pm

Split Shift > During the School Year: 7:00am-9:00a.m. and 3:00pm-6:00p.m. [5 hours per day]

During Summer, P.A. Days, March and Christmas Breaks [8 hours per day]
