Provide nutritious meal services at Elizabeth Mackenzie Elementary School in Behchoko. This Cook role involves planning and preparing meals for 200 students in a vibrant school environment.

Working under the Vice Principal’s guidance, this position requires cooking expertise alongside solid knowledge of food safety and nutrition. The Cook will ensure compliance with both TCSA Healthy Foods for Learning Policy and Canada's Food Guide while maintaining a clean and effective kitchen. Ideal candidates will have experience in meal preparation and food service.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks daily
• Ensure food safety and sanitation in the kitchen
• Assist with food purchasing and inventory control




• Support a welcoming school food service program
• Perform additional duties as assigned by administration

Requirements:
• Grade 10 education in English and Mathematics
• Minimum three years in commercial or institutional kitchen
• Standard First Aid and CPR Certification
• Equivalent education/experience combinations considered
• Capable of lifting 23 kg and standing for long periods
