Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, efficient, and team-oriented Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing excellent customer service and preparing high-quality beverages in a quick-paced food service environment.

As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving coffee, tea, and specialty beverages, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and creating a welcoming experience for every customer. Previous experience as a barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required, training can be provided to the right candidate.

Responsibilities
Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to company standards
Take customer orders efficiently while providing friendly and attentive service
Operate POS systems, accurately and efficiently
Process cash and other transactions accurately using basic math skills
Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including food preparation surfaces and equipment
Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures at all times
Assist with food preparation and food service tasks as needed




Manage time effectively and serve customers promptly during busy periods
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for customers and team members
Work collaboratively with the team to support smooth day-to-day operations

Qualifications
Previous experience as a barista or in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Solid customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Basic math skills for cash handling and POS transactions
Familiarity with Micros POS is an asset
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
Solid time management and organizational skills
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Previous serving experience is an asset but not required
Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
