Mining Dozer Operators - Syncrude MLX Project - 14/7 - Up to $41/hr - Fort McMurray, AB Kichton Construction LP is seeking experienced Dozer Operators for their Syncrude MLX Project near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is a contract opportunity for those local to Fort McMurray, working in a dynamic oil sands mining setting. Operators will be responsible for safe and efficient dozer operation, supporting site preparation and earthworks. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, experienced with large dozers, and able to work rotating shifts in challenging conditions.
Perks & Benefits $37-$41 per hour based on experience
Overtime after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week
9.6% vacation and stat holiday pay on all regular hours

What You’ll Need Minimum 2 years of experience operating dozers in mining, construction, or oil sands environments
Experience operating CAT D8, D10, D11 or equivalent dozers preferred
OSSA/BSO/CSO required
Hydrogen Sulfide Awareness or H2S Alive
Silica Awareness
OH&S; Legislation Awareness
Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness
Field Ergonomics
Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
WHMIS
Suncor Workday Training: SRMWB Safety Orientation, OSSA Driving in the Mine, SCL Mine Job Orientation
Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
Ability to read grade stakes and site plans
Physically capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong communication and teamwork skills
What Will Make You Stand Out Experience with finish grading, road construction, reclamation, and earthworks considered an asset
Experience working in soft ground and around water is considered an asset
