We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled PDI (Pre-Delivery Assembly and Inspection) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, inspecting, testing, and ensuring the quality of products before they are delivered to customers. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
The PDI Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining product standards and customer satisfaction by identifying and resolving issues during the final inspection process.
Duties
Assemble recent units.
Install accessories on units.
Conduct thorough inspections of products to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications
Test products using appropriate tools and equipment to ensure proper functionality
Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly, adjustments, or repairs during inspection processes
Document inspection results accurately and report any defects or issues to the production team
Assist in troubleshooting mechanical problems identified during inspections
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Unload Units from Carriers
Organize units in storage warehouse.
Requirements
Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working with various mechanical systems and components
Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, pliers, etc.
Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, or similar equipment is preferred
Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to read technical drawings or manuals is a plus
Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
Prior experience in product inspection, quality control, or related roles is desirable but not mandatory
Ability to work safely following all safety protocols and procedures
Ability to safely operate forklift
Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
