Canam Tools, a Division of the Arlen Group is seeking an experienced Full time Boring Mill Machinist to fill an open position on our CNC machining team. This role involves setting up, programming and operating horizontal boring mill equipment to produce high-quality precision components. This is a permanent, full-time position with steady work.

Key Responsibilities
Set up, program and operate horizontal boring mill
Machine to tight tolerances
Select appropriate tooling, calculate speeds and feeds, and perform adjustments as required
Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools
Maintain a clean, protected, and organized work area
Work collaboratively to meet production schedules

Qualifications
5+ years' experience operating horizontal boring mill machines
Proficient with precision measuring instruments
Experience machining large or complex parts
Ability to work independently and safely

Assets
Familiarity with Fanuc controller




Forklift or crane experience
Trade certification or completed apprenticeship

Schedule & Compensation
Full time, permanent employment - NO STEADY DAY SHIFT AVAILABLE
Overtime as required and paid after 40 hours worked
Starting wage: $27.00+/hour depending on experience
