The Bread and Butter of the Position:
If you enjoy driving, have an excellent driving record, a great attitude and strong work ethic, our Delivery Driver position may be your next career move! We rely on our Delivery Drivers to deliver our artisanal products with pride and care to our customers ranging from small independently owned coffee shops and restaurants to large grocery retailers.

Bonus points for previous commercial driving experience! However, our Delivery Drivers drive 1 ton cube trucks so no additional licensing is required.

Reporting to the Warehouse & Delivery Operations Supervisor, our Delivery Drivers are responsible for:

Loading and unloading product from trucks as per company policies and procedures





Ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our products within the assigned geographical area

Rotating & merchandising product while stocking

Taking pride in representing Portofino Bakery to our customers, demonstrating solid customer and relationship-building skills

Ensuring orders are dropped off accurately at each location and where applicable merchandising store shelves

Handling administrative duties including but not limited to dropping off orders, recording stock counts, returns, and issuing credits

Other duties as assigned

Shifts and Availability:

Comfortable with 10-hour shifts (e.g. our Delivery Drivers work four 10-hour shifts per week)

Must be available to work Wednesday-Thursday & Saturday-Sunday

Must be available to start work as early as 5:00 am

This is a full-time permanent position

The Ingredients You Bring to the Table:

Previous driving experience – bonus points for commercial driving experience!

Excellent customer service skills

The ability to lift up to 50 lbs

A class 5 driver’s license

A clean driver’s abstract from the past 5 years, with no major infractions

Strong time management skills

Detail-oriented and an eye for merchandising

A willingness to learn and grow

A commitment to upholding company policies, compliance and quality standards





A commitment to punctuality and reliability, showing up to shifts on time, and ready to work

The Details You’ll Loave:

Starting wage of $24.00 per hour
