AcuFast is seeking motivated Genetic Production Technicians for its facility in Watrous, Saskatchewan. Help advance pork production while ensuring animal welfare through daily routines and farm tasks.

This full-time role focuses on supporting Production Technicians in animal care and farm operations. You will perform daily health checks on sows, gilts, and piglets, maintain biosecurity protocols, and handle feed and water systems. Both local residents and foreign recruits through the SINP are invited to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct daily health checks for swine welfare
• Monitor ventilation and temperature conditions
• Weigh, sort, and move pigs as needed
• Feed, water, and vaccinate animals
• Maintain barn cleanliness and biosecurity standards

Requirements:
• Experience in animal husbandry preferred
• Excellent team player with solid communication skills
• Attention to detail for record keeping
• Willingness to wear PPE and follow safety protocols
• Flexible with tasks and able to perform general farm duties
