Elevate your nursing career at Baycrest Hospital as a part-time Registered Practical Nurse in the Inpatient Low Tolerance Long Duration Rehabilitation Unit. This role focuses on delivering compassionate care and therapeutic interventions.
This temporary part-time position requires 30 hours bi-weekly, combining day and evening shifts. You will work with an interdisciplinary team to provide client-centered care to geriatric patients recovering from musculoskeletal conditions. Ideal candidates should have experience in geriatric rehabilitation and a solid commitment to supporting patients’ emotional and functional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and evaluate nursing interventions for patients
• Administer medications and relevant treatments
• Deliver client-centered care in team settings
• Collaborate on individualized care plans with RNs
Requirements:
• Active registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Preferred previous experience in geriatric rehabilitation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
