Responsibilities for High Profile Event Security Guard:
Provide a professional and welcoming security presence at exclusive events and private functions
Control access by verifying credentials and authorizing entry into secure areas
Welcome guests while delivering exceptional customer service
Monitor attendees and event activity to identify potential safety or security concerns
Assist with VIP arrivals and departures while maintaining a discreet and professional presence
Maintain orderly crowd movement and support event operations
Conduct patrols of assigned areas and monitor restricted spaces
Respond calmly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, or disruptive behaviour
Complete accurate reports and communicate observations to supervisors
Work closely with event organizers, venue staff, and emergency responders when required
Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all assignments and guests
Qualifications for High Profile Event Security Guard:
Valid BC Security Worker Licence
Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
Clean Driver's Abstract
Minimum 10 years of residency in Canada
Eligible to obtain and maintain a Government of Canada Secret Security Clearance
Basic First Aid certification or higher
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Solid professionalism and customer service abilities
Ability to remain calm, confident, and composed in fast-paced environments
Versatile availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts
