OverviewWe are currently seeking two experiencedData Architect Consultantsto join our client’s enterprise analytics team, supporting a large-scaledata platform modernization initiative. The consultants will play a central role in driving the migration from SQL Server to Snowflake, and in designing robust data architectures that serve critical business functions across manufacturing, supply chain, and aftermarket domains. This is a hybrid role requiring regular onsite collaboration (approximately 50%) in eitherMontréalorBrossard, and strong bilingual communication skills.Location:Montreal or Brossard, QC – Hybrid (50% onsite)Position Type:12-month contract (with possibility of extension)Schedule:35 hours/weekTarget Rate:$80-90/hour, depending on experiencePositions Open:2Language Requirement:Bilingual (French 5/5 required, English functional)ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain a global enterprise data model in collaboration with business lines, data governance teams, and data engineers.Gather business requirements to design relational, dimensional, or Data Vault models tailored to specific use cases.Review and optimize proposed data models, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and compliance with GDPR and SOX.Define and implement architectural components that support data speed, quality, availability, and security.Continuously improve the BI platform architecture – from raw data ingestion to reporting and presentation layers.Lead and promote best practices in data architecture, modeling,



and delivery.Act as a trusted liaison to key business stakeholders, facilitating solution design discussions and communicating complex concepts clearly.Work EnvironmentHybrid: Minimum 3 days onsite every two weeks, including bi-monthly PI Planning sessions at the Vieux-Port office.Collaborative, business-facing environment focused on innovation and modernization.Consultants must be self-directed, communicative, and comfortable navigating evolving business requirements.Required Qualifications8–15 years of overall experience in data roles, with 8+ years as a Data Architect.Proven experience in enterprise environments (10,000+ employees).Mastery of data modeling techniques – relational, dimensional, and Data Vault.Strong experience with:SQL and SQL ServerSnowflake (or equivalent contemporary cloud platforms)Data ingestion and transformation frameworksStakeholder-facing solution designFamiliarity with:BI platformsMedallion architectureData quality and security standardsDemonstrated ability to deliver within agile and/or Scaled Agile (SAFe) delivery models.Fluency in French (spoken and written) is mandatory.English proficiency sufficient to handle technical documentation and collaboration.Preferred AssetsExperience with SAP environments.Knowledge of architectural deliverables such as:Solution documentationFunctional and technical diagramsConceptual/logical/physical modelsFamiliarity with GitHub, Copilot, or modern data development tools.Exposure to Big Data practices, cloud platforms (GCP or Azure), and data governance standards.#J-18808-Ljbffr
