Saulteau Safety & Security Shift Supervisor
Job details
A Saulteau Safety & Security Shift Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the efficiency, professionalism, and overall performance of security officers and OFA 3 medics across all sites that are not designated as self-contained and policed. This includes ensuring that site knowledge is consistently maintained and that officers receive ongoing evaluation, mentoring, training, and clear communication within a 24/7 operational environment.
The Shift Supervisor works closely with the Operations Manager to ensure site-specific requirements are upheld, operational adjustments or changes are implemented promptly, and new site start-ups are properly supervised. The role also requires regular liaison, coordination, and communication to maintain adequate site coverage and ensure effective incident and emergency response. Additionally, the Shift Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all Security Professionals consistently adhere to Saulteau Safety & Security's core values, vision, and mission.
Location: Site C - Fort St John

Solid communicator able to effectively engage with the clients, employees and visitors to the site
Capable of responding methodically to emergencies; fire, medical, security related
Report activity and occurrences in a complete and comprehensible format, and ensure all documentation is submitted by shift completion
Solid Customer Service skills- Always maintain a positive mental attitude and have a good sense of urgency
Capable of working within a diverse environment and respect others on the team
Capable of using a computer to write reports and send emails
The ability to investigate incidents thoroughly and with a sense of urgency and report back to clients and managers
Maintain a positive mental attitude
Maintaining Multi-tasking, organizing, problem solving, and prioritizing tasks
Strong computer and IT skills, with experience using multiple software applications, managing digital documentation, and troubleshooting basic technical issues.
Must be able to work 12 hour shifts, days or nights as required. Schedule is 14 days on / 14 days off
