Experience

3 years experience specifically in the acute clinical area required

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)

Knowledge and Abilities

Ability to operate related equipment & carry out the duties of the position
Knowledge in quality improvement theory and methodologies
Knowledge in employee development and performance management process
Ability to integrate knowledge and experience to enhance clinical practice.
Ability to supervise and teach licensed and non-licensed nursing personnel
Ability to be adaptable, build trust, provide coaching and mentorship
Knowledge in change management
Ability to apply system-level thinking in evaluating nursing practice/process.
Ability to apply principles and techniques to achieve optimum resident care
Knowledge in evaluating and leading process improvement projects
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with other care providers
Organize/prioritize work on multiple projects with competing deadlines
Ability to competently use computers and software applications




Demonstrate empathy/concern & interest in providing care for home care clients
Ability to maintain client/patient/resident confidentiality
Ability to identify chance for improvement and act as a change agent

Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
