About the Role Exciting Opportunity: Quality Control Technician I
Are you detail-oriented and ready to play a key role in maintaining product safety and compliance? We're looking for a Quality Control Technician I (QC Tech I) to join our team and help ensure adherence to Good Documentation Practices (GDP) , Good Production Practices (GPP) , and Health Canada regulations . In this role, you'll perform in-process checks, review documentation, approve room and equipment releases, and support product sampling. If you have a background in science or cannabis, strong analytical skills, and a sharp eye for detail, this could be the perfect prospect for you.
What You'll Be Doing Performing surface, equipment, and environmental swabbing to verify cleanliness and compliance
Reviewing and approving cleaning records, room activity logs, and scale verifications
Approving room and equipment releases prior to use
Monitoring in-process controls and responding to deviations
Sampling raw cannabis, packaging labels, and finished products
Inspecting documentation to ensure adherence to GDP
Applying status labels (e.g., Approved, Quarantine, Release)
Supporting the Quality Manager with additional tasks as needed
What We're Looking For 1+ year of experience in a scientific or cannabis-related field
Familiarity with safe food handling (HACCP experience is a strong asset)




Solid attention to detail and analytical thinking
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent time management, multitasking, and communication skills
