Join the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies as an Adult Basic Education Instructor on the Makwa Sahgaiehcan First Nation. This role emphasizes engaging instruction for adult learners in a supportive setting. As an ABE Instructor, you will deliver eight courses in the Adult 12 program, tailoring lesson plans and utilizing up-to-date technology to enhance education.
The role requires creating course materials and maintaining records while fostering collaborative relationships within our diverse community. You will also uphold academic policies and support a positive learning setting. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and deliver comprehensive lesson plans
Develop and maintain all course materials and evaluations
Integrate technology into instruction and administration
Collaborate professionally with students and staff
Ensure a respectful and inclusive classroom atmosphere Requirements:
Bachelor of Education from an accredited institution
Saskatchewan teaching certificate or eligibility
Understanding of adult learning theories
Knowledge of First Nations cultures is preferred
Competencies in communication and teamwork Cultivate a meaningful educational experience by inspiring adult learners within a supportive community.
