Join the liquids team at GFL Environmental as a full-time Battery Sorter. This role involves sorting batteries, data entry, and operating forklifts on the 2 PM to 10 PM shift.

GFL Environmental is seeking a dedicated Battery Sorter to contribute to our sustainability efforts. You will be responsible for sorting mixed batteries on a production conveyor and handling raw materials throughout the plant with a forklift. The position requires strong attention to detail for accurate data entry and maintaining cleanliness in your work area.

Key Responsibilities:
• Sort mixed batteries on a production conveyor
• Transport materials using a forklift throughout the plant
• Perform data entry using Microsoft Excel and Greentrax




• Clean work areas and equipment regularly
• Complete other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:
• Completion of secondary school education
• Experience in production or warehouse settings
• Forklift operation experience preferred
• Knowledge of OHSA Rights and Responsibilities, WHMIS
• Physical ability for manual material handling
