Wage: $26.00 per hour (full-time position; 35 hours/week) Location of Work: Various locations across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA)
Job Description: Stain or finish cabinets to a certain colour with stains, paints or other materials using a brush or spray gun
Apply toners, highlights, glazes or shaders to achieve the desired finish
Apply lacquer or other sealers
Smooth and shine the surfaces of cabinets
Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products
Work Conditions: Physically demanding; bending, crouching, kneeling; combination of sitting, standing, walking
Work Site Workplace: Noisy, Dusty
Work Setting: Millwork/prefab shopwork
Job Requirements: Minimum 1 year of experience in staining and finishing cabinets
Ability to learn and develop practical skills
Capable of observing all health and safety codes
