Position Overview Reporting to the General Manager, the
Office Manager
provides administrative support and oversees the daily operations of the local office. This role ensures compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements while maintaining an organized and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-directed, and capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision. This position also includes a Human Resources Generalist component, supporting policy adherence, employee relations, and addressing workplace concerns, while managing key financial processes, including accounts payable, to support a productive and well-run office.
What You’ll Do Post-secondary business / administration / management courses / certification preferred
3+ years experience in a related field
Construction / Restoration / Insurance / Project Management experience preferred
Directly responsible for Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, data entry into accounting systems, coding, approvals, and vendor management in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
Effective leadership skills, with a strong focus on mentoring and motivating employees
Experience with coaching and employee development
Self-directed, professional, tactful, and diplomatic demeanor
Experience with Xactimate and Xactanalysis preferred
Experience with JD Edwards and DocuSphere preferred




Ability to manage sensitive information and maintain confidentiality
Experience using office equipment (telephone, copiers, scanners, fax, printers, etc.)
Strong ability to work within deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices
Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per company policy
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Suite
Willingness to work evenings, on-call, and weekends as required
Ability to travel periodically
Criminal Record Check required
What You Bring 3+ years of experience in office management, administration, or a related field
Post-secondary education in Business, Administration, or Management (preferred)
Experience in construction, restoration, insurance, or project environments (asset)
Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills
Experienced in accounts payable and financial processes
Professional, self-directed, and able to handle confidential information with discretion
Highly organized with strong multitasking and time management abilities
Excellent communication and customer service skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Suite
Experience with Xactimate, Xactanalysis, JD Edwards, or DocuSphere (asset)
Valid driver’s license; ability to travel as needed
Willingness to work evenings, on-call,



and weekends when required
Criminal Record Check required
Working Conditions Due to the nature of our business, this position will work normal business hours but may be required to work in the evenings, on-call, or outside normal working hours
Manual dexterity for keyboarding, repetitive tasks, and prolonged periods of computer use, demanding attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
Periodic travel may be required.
