As a Junior Accountant, you'll assist the Accounting Team in maintaining accurate financial records within a casino environment. Key responsibilities include managing bank transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring timely processing of payments. You will also support accounts payable tasks and engage in various ad-hoc accounting functions, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare bank reconciliations and journal entries
• Reconcile internal and external accounts accurately




• Generate cost reports for ongoing projects
• Ensure timely preparation of HST and NRT returns
• Maintain organized accounting files and documentation

Requirements:
• 1 year of accounting experience or equivalent
• Post-secondary diploma/degree in Accounting preferred
• Familiarity with accounting software, Great Plains an asset
• Current enrollment in a CPA program is preferred
• Robust verbal and written communication skills
