The individual in this role supports day-to-day operations, training activities, and digital capability development across CRX, the Library, and INNOVA, with a particular focus on the Explore@CRX program.
The role helps ensure a high-quality experience for participants by coordinating activities, supporting Digital Navigators, facilitating the effective use of spaces and technologies, and contributing to the successful delivery of programs and services.
This position combines operational coordination, program support, training, and hands-on support within an environment focused on innovation, discovery, and digital skills development.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate day-to-day activities related to the Explore@CRX program
Schedule Digital Navigators and track ongoing activities
Design, organize, and deliver sessions and demonstrations related to technologies, spaces, and services supported by CRX, the Library, and INNOVA
Help users access and use CRX, Library, and INNOVA spaces, technologies, and services
Create and maintain simple guides, checklists, and reference materials
Gather feedback and document recurring needs, questions, and issues to support service improvements
Perform other related duties as required
Essential Qualifications
Relevant education or demonstrated experience in digital learning, educational technology, user support, program coordination, or a related field
Strong working knowledge of digital technologies and technology-enabled learning environments
Ability to confidently explain and demonstrate technologies to diverse audiences
Robust organizational skills and ability to manage assigned tasks
Strong problem-solving abilities and service orientation
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders
Bilingualism (French and English) is required
Assets
Experience working in a university, library, innovation lab, makerspace, or technology-rich
Experience coordinating activities, projects, or initiatives
Experience delivering training, facilitation, or user support
Experience supporting students, peers, or casual staff
Experience creating or adapting training materials and learning resources
Familiarity with technologies such as virtual reality, artificial intelligence tools, immersive technologies, or digital media tools
Experience providing technical support, managing equipment, or coordinating technologyenabled spaces
Experience organizing events, workshops, or community engagement activities
Strong interest in innovation, emerging technologies, and digital skills development
Working hours: Up to 15 hours per week
Contract dates: August 24, 2026 –December 18, 2026; January 6, 2027 – April 30, 2027
Flexible schedule, including some evening availability based on activities
Location: Library, INNOVA, and CRX
Possibility of contract extension or additional hours
