We are looking to fill One (1) ECA Supply, Temporary Contract Position.
Candidate Must be available to work:
Monday-Friday 9-4 for the duration of September 9th-October 9th and as needed beyond October 9th.
Description of work tasks and responsibilities:
The ECA will support and assist the team by:
Maintaining a healthy and safe environment
Interact and socialize with the children in a play setting
Provide activities and opportunities that encourage curiosity, exploration and creativity for children 0-6 years
Include materials and experiences that are culturally appropriate and represent diversity
Conduct and assist in storytime and song circle
Be able to support and guide children with their social and emotional development




Be able to communicate with the children and families on a daily basis with sensitivity and respect
Qualifications:
ECE or ECA preferred
Experience in a Family Resource Program (an asset)
Experience working in a child care setting
Experience with children aged 0-6
A second language would be an asset
Strong skills working with families & children
EXPECTED Start Date is September 9th 2026.
Salary $20.00 per hour
