Lead the Starbucks team at The Bookstore with a focus on service excellence and operational efficiency. This role supervises baristas, prepares beverages, and ensures smooth daily operations.

As a Starbucks Shift Leader reporting to the Operations Supervisor, you will oversee daily café activities. You will be responsible for training new employees, managing cash operations, and maintaining beverage quality during peak hours. This position requires strong supervisory and customer service skills to enhance the overall experience for staff and customers alike.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise baristas during shifts, providing guidance as needed
• Prepare food and beverages with attention to quality
• Operate cash registers and manage transactions accurately




• Train new café employees on operational standards
• Address customer complaints effectively and professionally

Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year experience as a barista or equivalent
• Food Protected Level 1 Certificate required
• Good knowledge of food preparation techniques
• Strong cash handling and reconciliation skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
