Position: Production Associate
Duties

Assemble door units (interior or exterior) according to company standards and customer specifications

Operate woodworking machinery and tools (saws, nail guns, routers, drills, sanders, measuring tapes)

Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or job specifications for door type, size, material, and hardware requirements

Cut, fit, and fasten door components , including jambs, frames, sills, stops, and trim pieces

Install glass inserts,



sidelights, weatherstripping, and thresholds as required

Attach hinges, locks, handles, and other hardware to doors or frames using hand and power tools

Inspect doors and components for defects or damage before and after assembly

Sand, seal, or finish door surfaces if required (depending on production line setup)

Label and prepare finished doors for packaging or shipment

Shifts: Day
Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm, 8:30am to 5pm

Qualifications/Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of Door shop experience asset but willing to train the right person

Ability to stand and walk for long periods of times, and bending and crouching

Ability to safely lift, carry and position doors, frames and materials (often 50, sometimes more with assistance)

Ability to handle tools, hardware, and small components precisely and safely

Ability to read measurements defects and ensure proper fit and finish of assembled doors

Able to maintain consistent work speed and quality throughout an entire shift
