Title of Position: Truss assembler (NOC 94211)
Terms of Employment: Seasonal full time position. Day shift work in a manufacturing facility located at a remote site.
Wage: $22.00/hour
Benefits Package: Competitive hourly wage, steady full-time hours, and eligibility for standard company benefits after the probation period, subject to company policy.
Location of work: 27 5th Ave Vanastra, ON N0M 1L0
Education: No Degree Certificte or Diploma
Work Experience: Will Train
Job Duties Assemble roof and floor trusses accurately using engineering drawings, shop orders, and production specifications.
Measure, cut, and position lumber and hardware to ensure each truss meets required dimensions and tolerances.
Operate hand and power tools safely while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Inspect finished trusses for quality, alignment, and structural accuracy before they move to the next stage.
Work closely with teammates and supervisors to meet daily production targets and scheduling needs.
Move, stack, and prepare completed trusses for storage, loading, or shipment as required.




Perform basic equipment checks and report any mechanical issues, defects, or safety concerns promptly.
Follow all workplace safety procedures, quality standards, and company protocols at all times.
Other duties as required.
Job Requirements Seasonal annual position from April to December.
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are required due to the remote work location and no bus route.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow measurements, instructions, and production drawings.
Ability to lift, carry, and handle lumber and truss components in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
Comfortable using basic hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment.
Good teamwork, communication, and reliability in a fast-paced shop setting.
Previous experience in manufacturing, carpentry, construction, or truss assembly is an asset.
Minimum high school education or equivalent preferred.
Commitment to workplace safety and willingness to follow established procedures.
