Job Summary
We're looking for someone pragmatic β someone who has strong content strategy , UX writing, accessibility, and regulatory awareness and who puts all of that into delivering high-impact experiences. They are proactive, team-oriented, and highly adaptable, able to simplify complex financial concepts, influence stakeholders, and identify the highest-value work.
This role is that of a Senior Content Designer who delivers content designs for multiple projects by creating, evaluating, and modifying the language used on tools, apps, prototypes, and websites, and who conducts ideation sessions, develops concepts, and innovates using design thinking methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
Conceptualize, design, and execute future-state and near-term cross-channel content experiences
Writing, editing, and proofreading skills applied across all deliverables
Ensure respective programs/policies/practices are well managed, meet business needs, comply with internal and external requirements, and align with business priorities
Apply user-centered design methodologies to ensure content is accessible and based on customer needs
Participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including product ideation and definition, user research, feature team scoping/planning, estimating effort, design, post-launch evaluation, and stakeholder communication
Collaborate with Experience Design Leads, Product Owners, and engineers to develop the best solution for customers
Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information, and all matters of confidentiality; elevate issues where appropriate
Ensure business operations are in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements (e.g., financial controls, segregation of duties, transaction approvals, and physical control of assets)
Participate in cross-functional / enterprise initiatives as a content design expert helping to identify risk / provide guidance for complex situations
Conduct internal and external content projects; support the development/delivery of presentations/communications to management or broader audience
Act as a subject matter expert within their own area of specialty or a resource for others, integrating the broader organizational context into advice and solutions within their own area
Solve complex problems requiring analysis of multiple variables, including consultation with multiple stakeholders
Independently perform tasks from end to end
Take direction from Content Design Lead, and align with Product Owner, Tech Leads, Experience Design Lead, and Control Partners
Required Skills
Advanced writing, editing, and proofreading skills with mastery of English
Proven ability to create audience-focused content that simplifies complex concepts
Strong strategic content planning and stakeholder management skills, with experience aligning content to business and brand objectives
Willingness to collaborate
Self-motivated, flexible, organized, and accountable
A passion for great experience design
Good writing skills and great communication skills, including UX writing skills
Ability to go with the flow β able to make changes on the fly
Preferred Skills
Financial institution (FI) experience
Public site experience
Mobile experience
Familiarity with Figma
Education Requirements
Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
Experience in a design-related discipline (industrial design, user-centred design, visual design, design strategy, design management, human factors, psychology, human-computer interaction, etc.) is a major plus
Required Experience
5 years of experience, preferably in digital, conversation, or content design
Nice-to-Have Experience
