As a Welder, you will report to the Welding Supervisor and execute high-quality welds on metal components for ship construction, repair, and maintenance. Your hands-on role requires attention to safety and collaboration with fitters and other trades to ensure accurate project completion. Key Responsibilities:
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols for operational safety
• Conduct pre-use inspections of tools and equipment




• Weld steel structures ensuring compliance with standards
• Read blueprints and welding specifications accurately
• Maintain detailed records of work performed

Requirements:
• 2+ years of hands-on welding experience required
• CWB certification is an asset
• Preferred experience in ship repair
• Understanding of crane signals beneficial
• Ability to work in rugged shipyard environments
