What You'll Do...

Perform bartending duties, including observing and adhering to all liquor liability laws

Have excellent working knowledge of liquors, beers and wines

Serve properly mixed and proportioned drinks, in a timely manner, to guests and servers

Monitor the intake of alcohol of patrons, prohibiting sale of alcohol to those who are intoxicated

Check identification of guests ensuring alcohol is being served only to those patrons of legal drinking age

Communicate with guests and respond to feedback in a positive manner, resolving any service issues

Responsible for daily bar set-up, ordering supplies, inventory control and restocking the bar

Oversee and schedule bartending staff

Check opening floats

Responsible for completing cash-out and reconciliation procedures

Prepare bank deposits





Required to open, close and secure the building

Assist with the set-up of special events

Responsible for the general cleaning and maintenance of the bar area

Other duties as assigned

To qualify, you'll need...

High School (Grade 12) diploma or equivalent

Six (6) months experience in bar service

Smart Serve Certification

Must demonstrate corporate competencies of Customer Focus, Results Orientation, Integrity and Teamwork.
