Analyze and interpret data to provide insights for stakeholders.
Design and maintain scalable data pipelines for workflow optimization.

Utilize cloud tools to manage data infrastructure.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
5+ years of experience in data engineering.
Proficiency in SQL and ETL development.
Experience with Python and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or BigQuery.
Robust communication skills in English.
Preferred Experience
Expertise in scalable data architectures.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of data processing and streaming solutions.
Familiarity with data visualization tools and web analytics.
Cloud certifications and experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and containerization.
The contractor must operate as an independent business entity. A legal requirement exists for a background check and the ability to travel to Guelph, Ontario, twice weekly. A contract starts in April 2025 for one year.
