Advance Forming Inc. is seeking a motivated Safety Coordinator to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in occupational health and safety while gaining hands-on experience on concrete formwork projects.

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year + benefits

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

Responsibilities
Conduct site safety inspections and identify workplace hazards.
Assist with orientations, toolbox talks, and safety training.
Maintain safety records, inspections, incident reports, and training documentation.
Participate in incident investigations and monitor corrective actions.
Support compliance with company policies and Ontario OHSA requirements.
Assist with job hazard assessments, PPE coordination, and site safety materials.
Communicate safety concerns with supervisors and project management.

Qualifications




High school diploma (post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety is an asset).
Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
Basic knowledge of workplace safety practices.
WHMIS, First Aid, Working at Heights, or other safety certifications are assets.
Valid G driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
