Our Warehouse Coordinator role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing administrative responsibilities with operational coordination and takes pride in maintaining accuracy, organization, and strong internal and external relationships.

Please note that this is a 100% in-office position, working out of East Penn Canada’s Dartmouth Branch.

Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day warehouse operations activities, ensuring all system transactions and supporting documentation are completed accurately and on time

Enter and maintain data related to stock receipts, branch transfers, customer shipments, and other warehouse transactions within SAP

Schedule incoming and outgoing freight with transportation providers, coordinating appointments, pickups, and deliveries to meet operational requirements

Prepare shipping documentation including bills of lading, manifests,



and related transportation documents in compliance with dangerous goods and hazardous materials regulations

Coordinate transportation requirements for the Motive Power and Reserve Power divisions as needed

Maintain accurate warehouse and inventory records within SAP and other applicable systems

Complete daily, weekly, and monthly operational and warehouse performance reports

Help control the flow of inventory throughout the warehouse, including receiving, shipping, replenishment, recharge, damaged goods, returns, and scrap processing

Verify and record all incoming and outgoing inventory transactions to ensure inventory accuracy

Conduct and maintain regular cycle counts and inventory audits, investigating and resolving discrepancies as required

Coordinate the purchase and replenishment of pallets and warehouse shipping supplies

Monitor inventory levels of warehouse supplies and ensure timely reordering to support operations

Liaise with Sales and Service Coordinators to ensure customer delivery and pickup expectations are effectively managed and fulfilled

Ensure outgoing products have been properly tested and that all required documentation is completed prior to shipment

Process and maintain documentation for stock receipts, branch transfers, returns, scrap credits, and other warehouse transactions

Coordinate weekly scrap reporting activities and assist with inventory reconciliations

Provide support and backup assistance for warehouse operations and administrative functions as required

Promote East Penn Canada’s commitment to Customer Experience Excellence and Occupational Health and Safety in all aspects of the role

Experience, Skills, and Competencies

2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, inventory control, transportation coordination, or a related environment preferred

Experience working with ERP systems (SAP ideally) is considered a strong asset

Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Outlook

Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory control,



and transportation coordination processes

Familiarity with dangerous goods regulations, shipping documentation, and warehouse compliance requirements is considered an asset

Solid attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including the ability to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions

Extremely strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking) with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments

Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and composure while working under pressure and meeting deadlines

Forklift certification or warehouse equipment experience is considered an asset

Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset

Role‑specific background checks are a condition of employment and may include, but are not limited to, employment verifications, criminal record checks, and professional reference checks
