K2 Group is a diversified investment and management company with a growing portfolio of hotels, restaurants, and real estate holdings across Canada and the United States. We're hiring an Accountant to take ownership of full-cycle accounting across our operating entities.

Compensation: $50,000–$60,000 per year, plus dental, extended health and paid time off.

What you'll do

Manage full-cycle accounting: journal entries, accruals, GL maintenance, and month-end close

Maintain accurate records across multiple legal entities in QuickBooks

Prepare bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations, and resolve reconciling items

Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements

Account for fixed assets, debt, intercompany transactions, and accruals

Prepare working papers supporting year-end review engagements





Assist with HST/GST filings and corporate tax support

Support cash flow reporting and lender reporting requirements

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Identify and resolve accounting issues independently, and improve processes as you go

Liaise with our external accountants and tax advisors

Provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed

What you'll need

3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience

3+ years working in QuickBooks Online

Hands‑on experience with reconciliations and month‑end close

Advanced Excel skills

Strong attention to detail and the judgment to resolve issues without being walked through them

Transparent written and verbal communication

Nice to have

CPA designation, or actively pursuing it

Post‑secondary education in accounting, finance, or a related field

Experience in hospitality, real estate, or property management

Multi‑entity accounting exposure

Familiarity with ADP payroll software
