Ballad is searching for a dedicated Safety Officer to advance our established health and safety program. This part-time position involves maintaining COR certification, guiding safe work practices, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will engage with employees and leaders to create a proactive safety culture while managing incident reporting and continuous improvement tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and enhance Ballad's Health & Safety Program
• Ensure compliance with Alberta Occupational Health & Safety laws




• Administer SiteDocs and digital safety documentation
• Deliver onboarding health and safety training for new hires
• Monitor incident reporting and recommend safety improvements

Requirements:
• Minimum three years of safety experience
• Knowledge of Alberta health and safety legislation
• Background with COR-certified organizations
• Proficient in digital safety systems like SiteDocs
• Solid organizational and communication skills
