Senior Edge AI & Computer Vision Engineer

Montreal, QC (Hybrid, 2-3 days/week)

Open to candidates relocating within Canada

Contract: 12 months (potential for conversion to permanent at any stage)

We're working with a technology company building advanced computer vision and AI software used in real-world imaging and automation applications.

You'll work on challenging engineering problems involving computer vision, machine learning, image processing and high-performance software development.

Responsibilities

- Develop embedded C software for edge AI and vision systems
- Design and optimize computer vision and image processing algorithms
- Deploy and optimize AI models on embedded and edge platforms
- Improve system performance, latency and resource efficiency

Requirements





- Solid C development experience
- Computer vision and/or image processing background
- PyTorch and/or TensorFlow experience
- Experience deploying and optimizing AI models on edge devices (NVIDIA Jetson, CUDA and/or TensorRT)
- Systems-level Linux development experience
- Performance optimization and GPU acceleration experience

Nice to Have

- OpenCV
- Camera and imaging systems
- LiDAR, SLAM or sensor fusion
- 3D vision or reconstruction
- Real-time graphics or rendering

Additional Information

- Must be eligible to obtain Canadian government security clearance
