Job Title: Treasury Analyst
Location: Toronto, ON
Job Type: 6 Months (Temporary to Permanent)
Salary: $30.00-$32.00/hour

Our client in Toronto, ON is actively looking for a Treasury Analyst to join their team.
Position Description: Key responsibilities for this position include:
Reviewing and reconciling day-to-day cash activities.
Documenting transactions and updating subledgers and SAP.
Analyzing and interpreting financial data.
Preparing cash forecasts.
Developing cash management strategies.
Preparing and presenting regular treasury reports, budgets, financial documents, and strategies to management.
Implementing and following treasury policies and procedures.
Maintaining treasury management systems/software.
Prepare and keep lease records updated on a timely basis.
Ensure lease software is updated regularly and accurate to ensure all leases are correctly presented in the financial statements.
Prepare and update CapEx reports for management.
Assist with annual audit requests.
Ensuring that the organization is compliant with all financial and legal regulations.
Travel and / or extended or off work hours may be required.

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a similar field.
Experience in drafting and implementing company policies
Specialized Knowledge, Skills, & Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience
Knowledge of accounting standards (U.S GAAP and/or IFRS), audit and COSO Internal Control Framework
Microsoft Office Suite, strong Excel skills
Experience with ERP systems, SAP a plus
Skills / Abilities Result-oriented approach with hands‑on execution capability
Versatile, strategic team player
Ability to work independently, a self‑starter
Abilities to advise peers and superiors effectively
Can be both detailed oriented and have big picture thinking
