Your Responsibilities
You'll develop and refine retail design concepts that align with project objectives,
brand standards, and technical requirements.
In this role, you'll create detailed store layouts, interior elevations, signage packages, and supporting design documentation.
You'll collaborate with senior designers, consultants, and internal stakeholders to identify design challenges and deliver practical, cost-effective solutions.
You'll work closely with project managers to monitor project progress, communicate updates, and resolve design-related issues throughout the project lifecycle.
You'll partner with operational teams to ensure designs are functional, efficient, and support operational requirements.
You'll proactively identify technical or design concerns and contribute hands‑on solutions while maintaining quality standards.
Skills and Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Interior Design, or a related technical discipline; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Experience through co-op placements, internships, academic projects, or professional work in retail or commercial design is considered an asset.
Strong understanding of building codes, design standards, and retail design best practices.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and REVIT.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to learning and contributing in a collaborative environment.
