This posting is a general recruitment opportunity as we continue to grow our portfolio across Alberta and prepare for upcoming property launches.This role includes, but is not limited to, effective communication with tenants and vendors, responding to leasing inquiries, and conducting unit tours. You enjoy engaging with tenants, collaborating with team members, and interacting with prospective residents. repairs, and servicesSupervising and managing the onsite team and external vendor relationsInvestigating resident complaints and resolving conflictsOverseeing and operating the properties within financial objectivesBuilding and implementing strategies to ensure the success of the buildingReviewing financial reports including accounts receivable and collecting rentsMaintaining an excellent standard for the property aesthetic – both indoors and outdoorsAssisting in operation and checks of building mechanical systems, make sure all meet safety standards and regulationsKeeping organized and up to date records on buildings and tenant related issuesBuilding relationships with residents and prospective tenantsCultivating a culture of continuous improvement and fostering a collaborative work environmentEstablishing and enforcing property rulesWhat we're looking for2-4 years of building or property management experiencePost secondary education in property management or business administration is an assetValid drivers licenseA working knowledge of Alberta's Residential Tenancies Act is an assetYardi Property Management software experience is an assetProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office 365Knowledge of Workplace Hazardous Material Information Systems (WHMIS) is an assetAt Westbow our vision is to create a world where every person has the skills and opportunities to reach their greatest potential.
