Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Worker is responsible for safely handling products in our Delta warehouse. The regular duties of this role include receiving and storing products, preparing customer orders, maintaining accurate inventory records, and performing daily housekeeping activities while contributing to a safe and healthy workplace.
This is a temporary, full-time three-month position with the possibility of extension.
Compensation
Starting at $23 per hour with $1 per hour shift premium
Experienced Candidates: $24.10 per hour with $1 per hour shift premium
You must bring 3 years of Clamp/Oversize handling experience
Guaranteed yearly wage progression
Responsibilities
Process and pack incoming customer orders in preparation for shipping
Receive, verify, unpack, and sort incoming materials
Maintain accurate inventory records through the use of a warehouse management system
Operate the warehousing equipment in accordance with regulations
Maintain warehouse safety and cleanliness
Qualifications
A current or previous Forklift certification
A Stand-up/Sit-down counterbalance MHE experience
A high school diploma or equivalent
The ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Good oral and written communication skills
Work Workplace
Working in a climate-controlled warehouse
Comfortable working with large items
Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing and pulling of boxes throughout the warehouse can be expected
Schedule: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Tuesday to Saturday
