About the Role As an RVT, you’ll play an essential role in delivering high-quality medical and surgical care, supporting our veterinarians, and ensuring our patients have the best possible experience. You’ll use your skills, knowledge, and love of animals to make a meaningful difference every day.
Key Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing care to patients, including monitoring, administering medications, and performing treatments.
Assist veterinarians during exams, surgeries, dentals, and anesthetic procedures.
Perform laboratory diagnostics (bloodwork, urinalysis, fecal exams, cytology, etc.).
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure patient safety and comfort.
Communicate effectively with clients about patient care, treatments, and home instructions in a compassionate and professional manner.
Participate in inventory management, equipment maintenance, and maintaining a clean,



organized work environment.
Contribute positively to team morale, supporting a culture of respect, communication, and collaboration.
Qualifications Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) designation in good standing (or eligible for registration in Nova Scotia).
Strong technical skills and knowledge of anesthesia, radiology, and laboratory procedures.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
