SANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with a highly regarded primary school in East Barnet, North London, to recruit a dedicated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) for the new academic year.
The Role Full-time SEND TA, Monday to Friday, for the full academic year.
Working one-to-one with a pupil joining the school from late September/early October.
Supporting a child with complex special educational needs, including Autism (ASC), who is non-verbal.
The school is particularly interested in candidates with experience using PECS and Makaton.
Working hours: 8:15am - 3:45pm.
Daily rate: £95-£100, depending on experience.




The Ideal Candidate Have previous experience supporting children with special educational needs within a primary school setting.
Ideally have knowledge or practical experience of PECS and Makaton.
Be patient, caring and adaptable, with a calm and positive approach.
Have strong communication skills and be confident maintaining accurate records while working collaboratively with school staff and external professionals.
