Senior Apprentice Carpenter (3rd or 4th Year) – Commercial Construction
Location: Charlottetown & Summerside, PEI
Job Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Journeyman, Foreman/Superintendant.
Wilmac Construction is looking for motivated 3rd and 4th Year Apprentice Carpenters to join our growing commercial construction team across Prince Edward Island.
We work on a variety of commercial and industrial projects including fit-ups, renovations, multi-story developments, and agricultural buildings. We are looking for apprentices who want to continue developing their skills, take pride in their work, and grow their careers within a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities
Assist with commercial carpentry and construction activities
Read and interpret drawings and specifications
Install framing, drywall, doors, hardware, ceilings, and finishes
Perform renovations, fit-ups, and general carpentry duties
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
Maintain safe and organized work areas
Work collaboratively with supervisors and other trades
Qualifications
Registered 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice Carpenter preferred
Commercial construction experience considered an asset
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
Ability to work independently and take direction
Valid driver’s license considered an asset
Schedule
Full-time employment
Monday to Friday
Approximately 44 hours per week
Home every night – all projects located within PEI
