Join the Weyburn Community Health Services as a full-time Health Educator. This temporary role focuses on delivering oral health programs to diverse community groups.
In this position, you will assess, coordinate, and promote oral health activities for children, prenatal groups, and seniors. Your expertise will not only enhance community well-being but also involve consulting with individuals and organizations. You’ll be part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing significantly to primary health care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver oral health education programs in the community
• Assess needs and coordinate health promotion activities
• Consult with various community stakeholders
• Develop and present oral health presentations
• Work collaboratively as part of a health care team
Requirements:
• Graduate from a recognized Dental Therapy program
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Robust presentation and facilitation skills
• Ability to diagnose dental issues and promote health
• Knowledge of current oral health best practices
