Take on a vital role within the Tsawwassen First Nation as a full-time Events and Workshop Planner. This position focuses on delivering cultural events and programming that celebrate community traditions and language.

The Language & Culture Events and Workshop Planner plays a key role in coordinating workshops and community events to preserve and enhance Tsawwassen First Nation heritage. Collaborate with the Language & Culture Supervisor and the Events & Food Services team to create impactful cultural experiences. Ensure that every event reflects the traditions and protocols of the Tsawwassen community.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver cultural workshops and community events
• Coordinate logistics like venue bookings and supplies




• Collaborate with community members and Elders for programming
• Develop and manage event budgets and purchasing
• Promote events through effective communication channels

Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years in event planning or cultural programming
• Post-secondary education in a related field
• Experience working with Indigenous communities
• Robust organizational and project management skills
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
