Enhance lives as a Community Housing Support Worker with Bonaventure Support Services in Parksville. Support individuals with diverse abilities through essential daily activities and personal care during overnight shifts.

This full-time role encompasses Friday to Sunday nights, focusing on promoting dignity and independence for youth and adults. You’ll work under a Program Manager’s guidance, fostering trust and advocating for community inclusion as you develop life and social skills. Your efforts will create meaningful connections between supported individuals and community resources.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support daily living activities including health and nutrition
• Assist with life skills development and independence
• Apply positive behavior strategies and crisis intervention




• Collaborate with families and community partners for holistic care
• Ensure health, safety, and well-being of supported individuals

Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Social Services or Community Support Work
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License and personal vehicle
• Robust communication and problem-solving skills
• First Aid with CPR and Food Safe Level 1
• Experience with diverse abilities is preferred
