Emerald Park Home Hardware is looking to grow our team and is seeking for (1) Lumber Yard Associate, FT Permanent.
Responsibilities Load/unload materials, manually and via forklift and/or pallet jack.
Identify & assist customers with information and help in gathering and loading orders.
Keep the yard clean and the inventory neat & orderly.
Be familiar with the location(s) of all inventory and equipment.
Receive incoming materials, matching products to their bill of ladings.
Gather and load materials for outgoing deliveries.
Assist customers in handling large or heavy items.
Restock lumber bins, sheds, etc. when they are depleted.
Be aware of theft and take action, in line with company policy,



to report or discourage it.
Work on additional duties and assignments as assigned by management.
Qualifications Must be able to lift 50lbs or more.
Must have valid drivers license.
Forklift experience is an asset, however, we will also provide in-house training.
Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, management and employees.
Ability to work a adaptable schedule including evenings and weekends.
Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience.
